How can i get the incorrect date stamp off digital pictures without the time consuming paint program.?

can i change it on the camera after they have alredy been put on wrong. the year is years off. and i can paint over them but it is time consuming and on some pics. it is on the face and i can't do anything with these.How can i get the incorrect date stamp off digital pictures without the time consuming paint program.?
I would use Adobe Photoshop. I have actually had been hired to do just that. The client had approximately 60 photos with the wrong date. Some were EASY fixes where I just used the clone tool and blended the wrong date into the background, however, as you said.. some were more of a challenge.





As the other person mentioned, you could just do a corrected date paint over or crop the picture to remove the date. If they are truly precious photos, I'd opt for the Photoshop method or hire a professional to fix the most important pics.How can i get the incorrect date stamp off digital pictures without the time consuming paint program.?
Use Paint at it's simplest and just ';blob'; black on the year, for the face location (how did you get a face down there???) unless you are really good with the Paint system you will just have to suffer, sorry!
