Big-name companies like Casio and Samsung usually have their own plants in China (they do not outsource AFAIK) and run their factories under strict quality control to preserve their reputation. That said, it's highly unlikely that their products would contain toxins. Very, very unlikely, and even it if did, you would probably have to EAT the camera before it would harm you.
