How do I remove branding (it looks painted on) from the outside of a digital camera?

I want to get the brand and model number off of this camera (it is going to be used somewhere we don't want our competitors to see exactly what equipment we are using). I read somewhere using sugar on a towel as an abrasive but that didn't do anything. Any other ideas? How do I remove branding (it looks painted on) from the outside of a digital camera?
You could try some black enamel paint, like that used on plastic models from a hobby store. Simply cover it up.

Black electrical tape is also used by some; others use a black sharpie.

Just about anything that could chemically remove the paint/decal would probably damage your plastic exterior of your camera too.How do I remove branding (it looks painted on) from the outside of a digital camera?
Try goo gone or something if it is a sticker.

Nail polish remover might work, as well.

If not, try using an exacto blade to scratch at it lightly and it will chip off.
Cover it with black electrical tape. Or what ever color the camera is.
Don't use nail polish remover. It will destroy not only the paint but the plastic also. Just cover it with tape of the same color as the camera.
