Digital oil painting tips and tricks?

Hi all!

I'm looking for sites that offer tips and tricks on how to get oil paint effects and appearance via digital means, using Corel Painter specifically. Such as getting a closer appearance to the traditional look of oil paintings.

IMPORTANT

I'm not at all interested in filters, or painters clone, quick clone or auto clone features editing original photographs to make them appear like oil paintings. That, to me, is cheating and the computer doing all the work.

So I'm looking for tips and tutorials etc. on getting the oil paint look by hand, with hard work, to create artwork that's original and resembles oil painting, and not how a 14yr old on Deviantart would do it with filters and claim it as art. :P

Thanks!

I'll say again, no filters, cloning or faking tutorials tips and tricks, those don't interest me and offer no creativity. But I know someone is going to link to one, lol.Digital oil painting tips and tricks?
If you do not already have this in your background, the one thing that will provide the experience so many digital artists lack is hands-on familiarity with traditional tools and paints. Work with the real thing and you will have a door to a dimension directly available to you. Writing out 5-20 books of information will not do that for you.

You will find a wide variety of information and, more importantly, people with the experience in both digital and traditional mediums here:
