http://www.cgsociety.org, has a BUNCH of references on digital painting, they have a bunch of books called expose, and some others that show real professional artists and their works, alot of them using photoshop.....check out the 2d galleries, those are mostly done in photoshop, the tutorials too, they're unreal.
